nOrman fOsters swiss re (aka the gherkin).

i just lOve cities at night.. the lights! the lights!!!!

i think i might pOp back One night next week and take sOme mOre.

the perfect sunday…

kelly and i decided tO gO On a gOOd Old fashiOned lOndOn explOre. frOm the bermondsey  fashiOn and textile museum

alOng the thames and dOwn tO wapping where we ate at the beautiful pOwer statiOn and had a drink at a 500 year Old pub with a gOrgeOus pewter bar

then light railed and walked tO angel fOr dinner and a few mOre drinks at ‘elk in the wOOd’ in camden passage…

lovely fOOd, interesting places and fine chats; it really dOesn’t get much better than that.

sO what did i dO On friday?

my week turned gOOd!

nOt Only did i get given a laminated membership card tO jOin the ‘punk rOcker club’ in year 4

but I alsO went tO the dentist, had a skin cancer burnt Off, gOt hypnOtised (again) after a brief slip Off the nO smOking wagOn and i gOt an Outstanding lessOn observatiOn! I tell yOu, thursday and friday were electric peOple… nOt!

paul had a lOvely birthday night On saturday and we gOt a little intOxicated…

if kelly were made Of legO and i was warhOl(ish… n’t)

a tres mediOcre week…

but a gOrgeOus sunrise Over lOndOn this mOrning!

yOu’ve just gOt tO put it Out there…

a funny thing happened. i fOund an Old repOrt frOm schOOl abOut a child whO had destrOyed a classrOOm and it mentiOned my Old friend and travel buddy kerrie-anne whOm i haven’t really heard frOm fOr abOut a year since she mOved tO melbOurne. i read it tO kelly… then kerrie-anne called me a few hOurs later!

On saturday night rachel came Over tO lOOk at Old phOtOs tO prOject On the wall in spain when we gO fOr their 10th wedding anniversary weekend in march (the happy day is abOve). whilst trawling thrOugh my many Old albums i saw a phOtO Of a wOman i wOrked with at my first lOndOn schOOl 15 years agO and wOndered whatever happened tO her. the next morning i was standing at the bus stOp at 7 am when a bus that wasn’t mine pulled up beside me and there she was, 1 metre away frOm me staring intO space!!!!
